Recently, Vidarbha won their third Ranji Trophy title. They won the 2025 edition of the Ranji Trophy by defeating Kerala by a margin of 37 runs in the first innings. Vidarbha may not have the longest winning history, but in recent years, this team has etched its name in history. They won their first Ranji Trophy title in 2017–18 under the captaincy of Faiz Fazal. They defeated 7-time Ranji champions Delhi by 9 wickets in the final. Subsequently, they repeated history the very next year under the captaincy of Faiz Fazal and won their second consecutive Ranji Trophy title. They defeated Saurashtra by 79 runs in the final. Vidarbha has had many famous players in history, including Karun Nair, Wasim Jaffer, Subramaniyam Badrinath, Hemang Badani and many more names.

Baroda and Madhya Pradesh are fourth on this list with 5–5 titles respectively. Baroda won the 1942/43, 1946/47, 1949/50, 1957/58 and 2000/01 editions. Legendary players like Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan were part of this team in history, while currently, the Pandya brothers are playing their domestic matches with this team.
